Vacuum clamping requires a few components to make it work. The basics needed are a vacuum pod, vacuum pump and the tubing to connect it. Its also nice to have a vacuum gauge and some connectors to make the system easy to configure.
Vacuum system are totally customizable and there are many options. We are going to show a few here but feel free to search the web for more ideas. For our system we are are keeping things budget friendly and doing it DIY style.
Our pump is from Harbor freight: Model 98076 2.5 CFM pump with an average price of $99.00 look or the sales and % off coupons to make it more affordable.
The Vacuum Pods are from VacuumPods and they have many different options, we went with their new low profile pods since we have limited z height
